Roland Darby was born in New Iberia, Louisiana on January 2, 1945, and moved to Texas at age 9. He has practiced law primarily in Houston, Texas since 1970. He has two adult children which were reared on a small horse farm in a rural community outside of Houston. Recently he opened a satellite office in Sealy, Texas near his home. He is a long time participant in the Big Brothers of Houston, Habitat for Humanity, and a former member of the Grievance Committee for the State Bar of Texas.
